Privacy Policy
This policy explains how MS Events, the operator of Tunisia Moto Ride, collects, uses, retains and protects personal data connected with the website and organised experiences.
Last updated: August 10, 2026
1. Data controller
The controller is MS Events, established in Tunis, Tunisia, and operating the Tunisia Moto Ride website.
- Contact email: Info@tunisiamotoride.com
- Phone: +216 22 543 108
Processing is carried out under applicable Tunisian law, including Organic Law No. 2004-63 of July 27, 2004 on personal data protection, and any other mandatory rules applying to the circumstances.
2. Data that may be collected
Depending on the form or experience, MS Events may process:
- contact details: first and last name, email, phone, WhatsApp, country and address where requested;
- reservation details: tour or event, dates, participation option, participant count, currency and amounts;
- identity and travel information: date of birth, nationality, passport or identity document and validity;
- safety information: emergency contact, riding level, equipment size, insurance, vehicle, special requirements and health information voluntarily reported;
- bank transfer evidence. Users should mask bank information that is not needed to identify the payment;
- messages, custom requests and communications with the team;
- minimal technical data: IP address, date and time, browser, security logs, language, currency and consent preferences.
Data is obtained directly from the person, from a lead participant acting for their group, or automatically for technical information strictly required to operate and secure the website.
3. Purposes and grounds for processing
Data is used to:
- answer enquiries and prepare a custom proposal;
- check availability, process and confirm a reservation;
- verify payment, prepare necessary documents and manage administrative or accounting follow-up;
- organise the experience, communicate with participants and handle safety or emergency needs;
- meet legal obligations, prevent fraud and protect the website, MS Events, customers and partners;
- improve website operation using limited or aggregated data.
Depending on the situation, processing is based on pre-contractual measures requested by the user, performance of the reservation, a legal obligation, MS Events’ legitimate interest in securing and administering its activities, or consent where required.
Information marked as required is necessary to process the request. Without it, MS Events may be unable to confirm the reservation or support safe participation.
4. Health and sensitive information
Health information should be supplied only where useful for safety or adapting the experience. It is available only to people who need it to prepare or manage participation and is not used for commercial purposes.
In an emergency, strictly necessary information may be shared with medical services, insurers or competent authorities to protect the person concerned.
5. Recipients and providers
Data is available to authorised members of MS Events. Where necessary for their role, it may be shared with guides, accommodation providers, carriers, rental companies, insurers, medical services or other partners involved in the experience.
Technical providers may support hosting, email, maintenance, security, backup and notifications. They must use data only for the assigned service and under applicable instructions.
MS Events does not sell or rent personal data. Data may nevertheless be disclosed where required by law or a competent authority, or where necessary to establish or defend a legal right.
6. Hosting and international transfers
Some technical providers or partners may process data from outside Tunisia, particularly where email, hosting or a travel-related service uses international infrastructure. MS Events limits transferred data and seeks safeguards appropriate to the processing and applicable legal requirements.
7. Retention periods
Data is kept for the period needed for the purpose for which it was collected:
- enquiries without a reservation are kept while the exchange is followed up, then deleted or archived on a limited basis;
- reservation records are retained while the experience is organised and followed up, then for periods required by accounting, tax, insurance or evidential obligations;
- identity documents, health information and emergency contacts are not kept beyond what is needed for safety, booking follow-up or a legal duty;
- technical and security logs are retained for a period proportionate to preventing and investigating incidents.
At the end of these periods, data is deleted, anonymised or archived with restricted access where required by law.
8. Security
MS Events applies reasonable organisational and technical measures to limit unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. Access to forms and submissions is restricted to authorised people. As no system can guarantee absolute security, verified incidents are handled according to their nature and applicable duties.
9. Individual rights
Subject to applicable law, a person may request access to their data, rectification, updating, erasure where possible, or object to certain processing. Consent may also be withdrawn for the future where processing is based on consent.
Requests should be sent to Info@tunisiamotoride.com with details identifying the relevant file. Identity evidence may be requested where needed to avoid disclosing data to a third party. MS Events responds within a reasonable time and may retain information required by law or to defend a right.
A person may also contact Tunisia’s National Authority for Personal Data Protection (INPDP) under the procedures made available by that authority.
11. Children’s data
Driving experiences are intended for people meeting the stated age and licence requirements. Where information about a child is needed for an accompanying person or family service, it must be supplied by the legal guardian and only to the necessary extent.
12. Policy updates
This policy may be amended to reflect changes to the website, services or legal framework. The date at the top identifies the current version. A significant change will be communicated by an appropriate means.
13. Contact
For questions about personal data or to exercise a right: Info@tunisiamotoride.com or +216 22 543 108.
MS Events handles each request confidentially and limits processing to necessary information.
